Cremina SL Piston Tool Enables SL Owners to Make Their Own Group Head Repairs

I found the spring tool essential to installing the piston and spring into the group. It’s especially useful to ensure that the spring is properly seated in the group head. In addition to the tool, the youtube video link Johnny Cerini provided gave step by step instructions on disassembling group head, removing old piston gaskets, and seating new ones. Although the video language was German, the video itself carefully detailed how to make the repairs. When it comes to reinstalling the shower screen and its gasket, I found the tool less useful. I found it easier to manually install the shower screen and gasket, using a 5mm allen wrench to gently and evenly seat them in the group head. Lastly, Johnny Cerini was extremely helpful and provided invaluable tips on making this repair.
