    My tomatoes

It's ok. A little cumbersome at first, but I got used to it . The best thing is it's removes the seeds really well. And I like the fact you can put the peels back in for that extra grind. Real downfall is that the sauce & skin exits are really to low to the bottom. A little hard to get a bowl under it.

    Yay Tomatoes!

This is our 3rd Spremipomodoro. Some of the early reviews were bad. We totally disagree. The 1st our son gifted us, because we were growing soooo many tomatoes. Whatever you could make with tomatoes, we made it. Because we worked our 1st machine over years to death, we had a problem with the handle end so ordered #2. When we moved a year ago we left both with our neighbors who always borrowed ours anyway. We thought our tomato growing was over. We were thankfully wrong! We immediately ordered #3 before the crop comes in this summer. The machine does have a learning curve. The center grinder does come apart for easy cleaning, but you MUST get the parts back in the exact way it came apart. There is a difference! Grinding can be messy so prepare for that with papers on the floor. My husband preferred me to quarter the tomatoes when he processed making it easier to push them in the hopper. Love this machine. The plastic one’s suction cup would just not work. You need the sturdiness of the clamp for lots of grinding.

    This is a quality inexpensive

This is a quality inexpensive hand operated machine to make sauce. Easy to mount and assemble. Would not trade it in for motorized unit. Have been using this all my life to make between 50-75 jars a year.
