    Inexpensive repair to keep Delonghi espresso maker going, not long durability

    The transmission of our ESAM 3300 broke in 2023 and researching youtube videos (some in german/french) learned that this is a straightforward replacement as opposed to sending the machine to the landfill and adding to our throwaway culture. I replaced it with the one ordered here and it lasted 2 years before breaking again. It seems the hall sensor that determines the "home" position for the brew group fails causing the motor to keep running and the plastic parts break. Still cheaper than buying a new machine every few years but annoying they don´t last longer (or came with instructions on how to keep going longer).

    Perfect part

    Received the transmission and matched perfectly with the one in my De'Longhi machine. Removed the old part and replaced with the new. Pay attention to the wiring when reconnecting the wires. Recommend to take a picture before disconnecting. Instation took about 15 min. Making great coffee once again.

    Exact fit for my Delonghi

    Part was an exact fit. Swapping it out takes approximately two hours. Communication from store was great from when I placed order to when part arrived. I would definitely order from Cerrini again.

    Delionghi easm 3400 assembly

    The assembly arrived in time. Very well packaged. The original had a lot of grease for lubrication of the moving parts, however, the replacement does not. It could be because it doesn't need it.
