I have a very old Olympia Caffarex VT espresso machine that is wonderful, but definitely showing it's age! I asked Johnny Cerini if he had a replacement, and he suggested this one.
It was $40.00 for what was probably once a $3.00 part, but I'd looked for a long time for one that would fit, so I splurged on it.
One issue was that the old switch had six contact FastOn connector tabs, and some of the replacements only had four.
In typical Italian wiring fashion, there was no schematic, and it was not obvious how the various connections actually functioned!

Once I got it out, I discovered that it was a DPST switch, and the third pair of contacts were for a 120vac neon lamp.
The replacement switch is a DPDT switch, and the third pair of contacts are the Normally Closed pair. I found that it also has a 120v neon lamp, but it is internally wired to the Normally Open contacts.
I’m guessing that the other switch would have worked just as well, since the NC contacts weren’t needed for this machine. I don’t know if it has a light as well.
With the internal light, if you connect the power feed to the…
