The steam output of new wand is greater than the original however the 4 hole tip is still sub optimal for creating consistent microfoam. Fortunately unlike the original the tip is removable and there are after market single hole tips which are compatible with the wand. Expensive upgrade but still worth doing in my opinion

perfect 1/4 bsp fit on caffarex; the old wand needed replacement and it is nice to have a shiny piece there
again. the original steam wand on a caffarex is a prodigious producer. the new 1 bend wand requires a few changes from the 2 bend original. nice improvement
