Olympia Cremina, Coffex, or Maximatic not heating?

If your Olympia Express Cremina Espresso machine is not heating anymore, try resetting the safety thermostat under the machine first before assuming the worse. 

Most common way the safety blows is the machine is left on without any water in the boiler. Therefore the heating element is no longer in water and overheats.. This will trip the heating element safety thermostat. 

If resetting does not help, you may have one of the following issues with your machine. 

• Bad heating element
• Bad safety thermostat
• Bad wire or connection 
• Bad power switch
• Bad Pressurestat

Please note: That on new models you need to remove the lower coverplate to access the reset.
